SVJC Trust UK is a voluntary organisation awarded charity status in the UK in March 2009
The project started in 2006 with Dr Sanjay Deshpande recruiting a team of Surgical / Medical / Nursing / ODP / Midwifery specialists to voluntarily carry out procedures at a charity hospital in Dervan on the West Coast of India.
The team use their own time and raise funds to help with flight costs and to send vital equipment to the hospital.
